General objective of the job

As the Franchise Development Manager at Kemedar, you are responsible for driving the expansion of the franchise network. This includes identifying potential franchisees, managing the recruitment process, and overseeing the integration and onboarding of new franchises. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each franchise is set up for success and aligned with Kemedar’s strategic goals, all within the framework of a matrix management system.

Reports to: Head of Franchise and Area Partnerships

Coordinates with: Legal, Financial, Marketing, and Operations Departments, both at the corporate level and within specific system partners

Oversees: Franchise recruitment and integration teams

Main Duties of The Job


  • Identify potential markets and franchisees that align with Kemedar’s growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality franchisees.
  • Manage the entire franchisee selection process, including application review, interviews, and final selection.
  • Negotiate terms and oversee the drafting of franchise agreements in collaboration with the legal department.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure successful franchise setup and integration, facilitating training, marketing support, and operational guidance.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of franchise development strategies and adjust plans based on market feedback and performance data.
  • Facilitate regular communication between new franchisees and system partners to ensure alignment and address any initial challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential franchisees and at industry events to promote Kemedar’s franchise opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor franchise practices to continually refine and improve Kemedar’s franchise offerings.
  • Support franchisees through the initial stages of operation, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge necessary for a successful launch.

We expect that you have..!

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in franchise development, business development, or a related field, with proven success in expanding a franchise network.

Language

Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial for international dealings.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Personality

Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly motivated with a strong ability to think strategically and execute effectively.

Personal Skills

Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills, capable of leading teams and managing projects under tight deadlines.
