As the Account Controller at Kemedar, you are responsible for overseeing the overall accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial regulations, and the effectiveness of internal controls. Your role involves managing all aspects of accounting from payroll through to financial reporting and forecasting.
This job profile is designed to attract a knowledgeable and experienced Account Controller who can ensure the financial precision and regulatory compliance of Kemedar’s accounting operations, providing the foundation for sound financial management and business growth.
He reports to the Vice President of Finance of Egypt
Accounting staff, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger personnel.
Coordinates with:
CFO, Financial Planning and Analysis, Internal Audit, Tax Director, Treasury
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
At least 7-10 years of accounting experience, with several years in a controller position or equivalent, ideally within a large, complex organization.
Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of GAAP and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Analytical, meticulous, and reliable with a strong professional ethics and a commitment to corporate governance.
Excellent managerial, organizational, and communication skills; capable of leading a team and managing complex accounting systems.

Under the matrix structure, specific finance personnel such as system-specific accountants report to two managers: the Controller for their functional role and system managers for their system-specific responsibilities. This dual-reporting structure is designed to optimize both functional expertise and system-specific knowledge.
