General objective of the job

As the Training and Compliance Manager at Kemedar, you are responsible for developing and implementing training programs and ensuring compliance across all franchisees and area partnerships. Your role involves educating partners on operational standards, business practices, and compliance requirements, as well as ensuring that these standards are consistently met throughout the network.

Reports to: Head of Franchise and Area Partnerships

Coordinates with: Legal Department, Human Resources, Partner Relations Managers, and System Specific Departments

Oversees: Training personnel and compliance officers

Main Duties of The Job



  • Develop comprehensive training programs that cover operational procedures, company policies, customer service, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Schedule and conduct regular training sessions for new and existing franchisees and their staff, both onsite and online.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, updating materials as necessary to improve learning outcomes and operational performance.
  • Ensure that all franchisees and area partners adhere to legal standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits across the franchise network, reporting findings to corporate management and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the legal department to stay updated on new regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a compliance calendar that tracks required updates and certification renewals for franchisees.
  • Facilitate communication between Kemedar’s departments and franchise partners to ensure a clear understanding of compliance issues.
  • Lead initiatives to foster a culture of compliance and ethical business practices within the franchise network.
  • Manage and resolve any compliance issues that arise, providing support and guidance to partners to rectify non-compliant behavior.

We expect that you have..!

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or related field. A Master’s degree or specific compliance certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is highly valued.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and compliance, preferably within a franchising or multi-unit business environment.

Language

Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial for international dealings.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), compliance software, and digital training tools.

Personality

Approachable, empathetic, and proactive with excellent negotiation skills.

Personal Skills

Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining strong relationships.
