General objective of the job
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Kemedar, you will be integral to maintaining the highest standards of quality for all our systems. Your role involves rigorous testing of web-based and mobile-based applications, ensuring they meet our exacting standards of functionality, usability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with system development teams to understand project objectives and refine testing strategies, ultimately ensuring a seamless user experience for high-traffic platforms.
For this role we work on a fintech-like project: credits based subscription system. It's both the most interesting and the most challenging product of B2B tribe. You will be working with such technologies as RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MySQL, Kubernetes, Golang/PHP services, as well as tests automation using Python.
This job profile is designed to attract a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer who can ensure that all Kemedar systems meet the highest standards of quality and deliver an exceptional user experience to our customers.

Organizational Relations
Main Duties of The Job
- Develop a thorough understanding of project objectives, system requirements, and specified functionality to create effective test strategies.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts for module testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Conduct both automated and manual testing for web-based and mobile-based applications, ensuring high traffic websites maintain optimal performance.
- Participate actively in troubleshooting issues and work closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and evaluation of testing environments and data.
- Regularly update test processes and software testing tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Document all test results and provide detailed reports on the findings and the steps taken to resolve any issues.
- Participate in code reviews and software design sessions to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technology advancements to continuously improve the testing process and tools.
Candidate Profile:
Relevant work experience in automation and manual testing of Web, Mobile applications.
Knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool.
Good understanding of Web and Mobile based projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A good team player with good communication skills
Good Knowledge in Test Management Tools like Jira, Quality Centre, Test Rail
Good experience working in Agile teams.
Ideally have experience with Mac, Linux environment
Good understanding of Deployment and Release Cycles
Experience working and testing Databases systems such as MySQL or MS SQL or NoSQL DB like MongoDB
Hove knowledge of Web services and API Testing Tools (Postman, SOAP UI).
Key result area will be to ensure that the bugs are minimized, and the software releases go through with minimal bugs.
Supplementary Experience: (Good to have)
Experience in writing UI automation tests in cypress, WebdriverIO
Experience in performance testing tools.
Experience in security testing tools.
Having knowledge of DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in web and mobile application testing. preferably with a large audience market place.
Language
No Special Requirements
Computer Skills
Proficiency in test management software and SQL, and familiarity with scripting and automation frameworks. ,
Personality
Proactive, organized, and methodical with a strong commitment to quality.
Personal Skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Certifications in Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are highly desirable.
