As the Legal Affairs Manager at Kemedar, you are responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of the company's operations. This includes managing corporate legal strategies, handling contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and supervising the overall legal framework of the company. You play a crucial role in protecting the company's legal interests and mitigating risks.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Coordinates with: All department heads, external legal counsel, regulatory bodies
Oversees: Legal Affairs Manager, Executive Secretary Manager, Personal Assistant, Business Consultant, and any additional administrative or legal staff
Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent law degree. Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in a corporate setting, with significant experience managing a legal team.
Excellent English required
Proficiency in legal research platforms, corporate law, and compliance frameworks.
Analytical, ethical, proactive, and capable of making tough decisions.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, capable of handling complex legal negotiations and developing strong professional relationships.
Bar admission is mandatory. Certifications in corporate governance or compliance may be advantageous.
Ethical, decisive, and strategic with strong leadership qualities and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams and complex organizational dynamics.
