General objective of the job
As the Treasurer at Kemedar, you are responsible for overseeing the organization's treasury functions, including cash management, corporate finance, and financial risk management. Your role ensures that Kemedar maintains a strong and secure financial position, optimizing capital structure, and managing financial risks effectively.

Organizational Relations
Main Duties of The Job
- Manage and oversee all aspects of treasury operations, including cash flow management, investment management, and financial risk oversight.
- Develop and execute financing strategies, including debt financing, equity financing, and working capital management.
- Monitor and manage the organization's liquidity, ensuring sufficient cash flow to meet operational and strategic needs.
- Implement robust risk management procedures to mitigate financial risks, including hedging strategies for currency and interest rate exposures.
- Negotiate with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms for credit facilities and other financial instruments.
- Oversee the investment of funds and manage relationships with investment bankers and financial advisors.
- Prepare and present financial reports related to treasury operations, financial position, and risk management activities to the executive management and board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all treasury activities.
- Lead the treasury team, providing guidance and professional development to enhance their capabilities and performance.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and market trends to adapt treasury strategies accordingly.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years in corporate treasury, banking, or financial management, with significant senior-level experience.
Language
Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
Computer Skills
High proficiency in financial modeling techniques, using advanced Excel and financial software.
Personality
Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven by a desire to optimize business performance through financial insights.
Personal Skills
Excellent negotiation and managerial skills, capable of leading a team and managing complex financial portfolios.

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or similar certification is highly desirable.

Matrix Structure within the Finance Department:
Under the matrix structure, specific finance personnel such as system-specific accountants report to two managers: the Controller for their functional role and system managers for their system-specific responsibilities. This dual-reporting structure is designed to optimize both functional expertise and system-specific knowledge.
System-Specific Accounting Teams
Each system, like Doringa, Camonea, and others within Kemedar, has its dedicated accounting team, which focuses on:
- Financial operations specific to the system.
- Budget management and cost analysis for the system.
- Revenue recognition and financial reporting for the system.
- Collaboration with system managers to align financial strategies with operational needs.
These accountants report functionally to the Controller for accounting standards and practices, and operationally to the respective system managers for day-to-day business relevance.
