General objective of the job

As the Chat Support Specialist at Kemedar, you are responsible for the initial reception and efficient routing of customer inquiries via live chat. Your role is critical in ensuring that customers are quickly connected to the appropriate specialists who can address their specific needs, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Kemedar’s customer support.

All customer support specialists, including System Support, Product Support, and Ticketing System Specialists

Main Duties of The Job


  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries via live chat, providing first contact resolution when possible.
  • Quickly assess and route chats to the appropriate specialists based on the specific issues or questions presented.
  • Monitor live chat traffic to ensure all customers are attended to promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all Kemedar systems, products, and services to accurately direct customer queries.
  • Collaborate with various departments to update and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of support pathways and specialist areas.
  • Provide feedback to the Customer Care Manager on potential improvements to the chat distribution process.
  • Assist in training new chat support specialists on best practices for chat management and customer interaction.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Continuously seek to improve the chat support service by staying updated on new tools, technologies, and effective practices.

Education

No specific degree

Experience

At least 2-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably with specific expertise in supporting software or technology systems.

Language

Fluent in English is Must

Computer Skills

Proficient with CRM systems, data analytics tools, and modern customer service software.

Personality

Proactive, leadership-oriented, strong problem solver, and highly adaptable to dynamic environments.

Personal Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record in team leadership and training.

Certification

Professional certifications in customer service management, leadership, or related areas are preferred.

Specialized computer skills
