General objective of the job
As the Server Administrator at Kemedar, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of our server systems. This critical role ensures the stable operation of the server infrastructure by managing server performance, overseeing system security, and facilitating server upgrades and backups. Your expertise will support the seamless operation of Kemedar’s platforms and applications, directly impacting our ability to deliver innovative real estate solutions efficiently.

Organizational Relations
Main Duties of The Job
- Install, configure, and support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Oversee and streamline the installation and configuration of system hardware and software, specifying proper performance parameters.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
- Manage system infrastructure including databases, servers, and network devices.
- Plan and implement system security policy, to include firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
- Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot networking and server performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
- Develop and document system standards for computer and network devices.
- Manage and configure web servers and associated software including Apache, Nginx, and Microsoft IIS. Ensure optimal configuration and performance of all web hosting environments.
- Act as the primary contact for hosting companies, managing SLAs, and ensuring hosting services meet our requirements for uptime, performance, and security.
- Coordinate with hosting companies to resolve any issues related to server hosting environments, including escalations and technical support inquiries.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field.
Experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in server administration, network operations, or system management.
Language
No Special Requirements
Computer Skills
Proficiency in managing server environments, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Personality
Analytical and methodical, with a strong focus on system reliability and security.
Personal Skills
Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are preferred.
