General objective of the job
As the Financial Controller for Investments at Kemedar, you are responsible for managing the financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting processes for all investment-related activities. Your role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic financial insights to support investment decisions.
This job profile is designed to attract a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller for Investments who can ensure that Kemedar’s investment financials are managed with the highest level of expertise, accuracy, and strategic insight.

Organizational Relations
Main Duties of The Job
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for investment activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for the investment department, providing accurate financial projections to support strategic planning.
- Develop and implement internal control systems to ensure the integrity of all investment financial transactions.
- Analyze financial performance of investment portfolios, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure proper compliance with all financial and regulatory obligations.
- Provide financial analysis and support for investment decisions, including evaluations of potential acquisitions and dispositions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in investment and financial regulations and best practices, adjusting financial practices accordingly.
- Manage liquidity and cash flow for investment operations, ensuring sufficient funds are available for ongoing investment activities and commitments.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and investors detailing the financial status and progress of investment projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the investment financial team, promoting continuous learning and improvement.

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or CFA is highly preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, with significant exposure to investment or asset management environments.
Language
Excellent English required
Technical Skills
Proficiency in financial software and systems, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Personality
Meticulous, proactive, and strategically minded with a strong ethical stance.
Personal Skills
Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities, with strong communication skills to interact effectively at all levels within and outside the organization.
