General objective of the job

As the Financial IT Systems Manager at Kemedar, you are responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and enhancement of all financial IT systems within the organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that these systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with the financial goals and operational needs of the company.

This job profile is designed to attract a highly qualified Financial IT Systems Manager who can effectively oversee Kemedar’s financial systems, ensuring they are robust, secure, and capable of supporting the organization's financial operations and strategic objectives.

IT staff dedicated to financial systems, project management teams for financial system implementations and upgrades

Coordinates with: 


CFO, IT Department, External IT Service Providers, All Finance Department Heads

Main Duties of The Job

  • Manage the overall operation and security of financial IT systems, including ERP systems, payroll software, and other financial reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with financial and IT departments to identify system needs, design solutions, and develop implementation strategies that optimize financial processes.
  • Oversee the installation and upgrading of financial systems, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Implement rigorous system security measures to protect sensitive financial data and comply with regulations.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular system audits, and provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Develop and manage the budget for financial IT systems, including costs related to upgrades, expansions, and new system integrations.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and risk management for financial systems to prevent data loss and system outages.
  • Stay abreast of new trends and technologies in financial IT systems to drive innovation and improve system capabilities.
  • Train finance and IT team members on new system features and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that service level agreements meet organizational needs.

We expect that you have..!

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 5-7 years in IT management with specific experience managing financial systems.

Language

Fair English is good

Computer Skills

Extensive experience with ERP systems, database management, and financial reporting software. Familiarity with programming languages and system integration techniques is a plus.

Personality

Analytical, proactive, and attentive to detail with a strong commitment to data security and system efficiency.

Personal Skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage complex IT projects.

Certification

Certifications in IT management (e.g., ITIL, PMP) or financial systems (e.g., SAP Certified, Oracle Certification) are beneficial.

Specialized computer skills

Like apps of business management as Odoo, Bulk emailing, Accounting systems,...etc

If you have good connections to business key persons in real estate industry and investors

Matrix Structure within the Finance Department:

Under the matrix structure, specific finance personnel such as system-specific accountants report to two managers: the Controller for their functional role and system managers for their system-specific responsibilities. This dual-reporting structure is designed to optimize both functional expertise and system-specific knowledge.

System-Specific Accounting Teams

Each system, like Doringa, Camonea, and others within Kemedar, has its dedicated accounting team, which focuses on:

  • Financial operations specific to the system.
  • Budget management and cost analysis for the system.
  • Revenue recognition and financial reporting for the system.
  • Collaboration with system managers to align financial strategies with operational needs.

These accountants report functionally to the Controller for accounting standards and practices, and operationally to the respective system managers for day-to-day business relevance.
